Juan Silanes


Juan Silanes is President of the Bioclon Institute and Vice President for Research and Development at Silanes Laboratories. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ibero Americana University and a master’s degree in business administration from IPADE.

Currently he presides over several national and international organizations, including the Mexican National Association of Medicine Manufacturers (ANAFAM), the Mexican National Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Mexican Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the Latin American Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (ALIFAR).

With two other researchers, he registered patent 6,709,655: “Pharmaceutical composition of F(ab’)2 fragments of antibodies and method for the preparation thereof.”
