Lars R. Christianson

Lars Christianson studied chemical engineering at the Universidad Iberoamericana and earned a  master’s in business administration from Stanford University.

He worked at Citibank Mexico as Deputy Director of Planning before joining Inter Leases as Director of Credit.

From there he joined Christianson, one of the leading manufacturers of surfactants in Mexico, as Technical Director, then served as CEO until Christianson’s sale to the Swiss company Clariant.

He is former president of the National Association of Chemical Industry of Mexico and a recipient of the National Prize for Chemistry.

Christianson has consulted with various organizations, including the National Bank of Mexico, Mexico Horizon Investment Company, Union Carbide, Petrochemical Grupo Beta, Fausto García Asociados and the Board of the School of Chemistry of UNAM.
